Graham Harris will be speaking at the Confederation Centre Public Library, Queen & Richmond Street, Charlottetown , Prince Edward Island on November 17 at 2PM.

The mystery of Oak Island has baffled treasure-seekers for over two centuries since signs were first discovered in 1795 that something of great value lay buried there. That "something" has been identified with Sir William Phips, the foremost adventurer of seventeenth century New England, and noted treasure-seeker.

This year's presentation will concentrate on the exciting life of William Phips, and his struggle against adverse odds to discover the legendary wreck of the Concepcion, one of the most fabulous of all Spanish plate vessels to be lost at sea. Harris believes Phips was unfortunate to lose much of that treasure upon Oak Island through a strange quirk of fate, thereby bequeathing to us an enduring mystery.
