I've been interested in the Oak Island mystery since I was a child - I first read about the Money Pit in a book of my Mum's all about unexplained mysteries. At the age of 9, I felt I'd outgrown the usual tales of ghosts and UFOs and turned my attention to a tiny island in Nova Scotia. I was soon captivated by the treasure maps, secret codes and pirates. Living in the UK, there was very little information I could get hold of on the subject, so my fascination began to fade until the summer after I graduated in August 2001. I decided to turn my hand to the emerging popularity of the internet and teach myself how to design a website. I chose Oak Island as I couldn't find much current information about the Money Pit on the web at the time. I thought that by designing my own site, I might be lucky enough to hear from people living in the area who might be able to tell me what the status of excavations were.
Since 2001, I've been able to help in a wide range of projects including assisting documentary researchers, journalists, writers and even computer game developers. I don't think I will ever grow tired of running my website, given the number of interesting characters it continues to place in my path. Sadly, I do have to earn a living in the Real World, and Oak Island Treasure remains something I run in my free time, however, I'm always keen to hear from people to hear how you first heard about Oak Island and what your theories are on the subject.
