Hedden explains he has decided to extend his agreement with Fred Blair February 9 1941 In a lettter to R.V.Harris, Hedden talks about the war effort and explains how busy he has been. He speaks of plans to visit Oak Island in the summer, despite Hamilton being concerned about a labour shortage, no doubt due to troops being overseas. June 23 1941 Letter from Hedden to R.V.Harris explaining he has a new job in Washington in the War Department. He states that he shall keep Oak Island for now, while he continues with his research from a distance. August 8 1941
